IPTV on Google TV
Google TV is the newer Android-based interface found on Chromecast with Google TV, the Google TV Streamer and many recent televisions. It runs the XCodes IPTV app once developer mode is on.

Yes, XCodes IPTV runs on Google TV. Turn on developer mode by selecting the Android TV OS build seven times in Settings > System > About, allow Downloader to install unknown apps, then enter code 5496614 to install the app.

Is Google TV the same as Android TV?

Can I cast XCodes IPTV from my phone to Google TV?
It is better to install the app on the Google TV device itself. It streams directly from the network, which is more stable than casting.
Will developer mode harm my Google TV?
No. Developer mode simply reveals extra settings. You only change the unknown-apps permission for Downloader.
